100E shuttle bus service – your quick and convenient airport connection

The 100E shuttle bus service offers numerous daily departures between Liszt Ferenc International Airport and Deák Ferenc Square, right in the heart of the city. There is a shuttle every 20 minutes, so you can reach the airport/city centre easily in 30-50 minutes depending on the traffic.

The schedules are regular, reliable and adjusted to flight timetables, so that planning your trip to and from the airport has never been easier.

Uniquely designed, low-floor, air-conditioned buses with a spacious luggage area operate on the route, leaving Deák Ferenc Square every ’00, ’20, ’40 minutes past the hour from 03:40 to 00:40. Departing from the airport, the first bus is available at 05:00, then every 20 minutes, however from 08:00 to 19:50 every ’10, ’30, ’50 minutes past the hour, after 20:00 every ’00, ’20, ’40 minutes, while the last shuttle leaves the airport at 01:20.

For your convenience:

  • Arrive 20 minutes earlier to Deák Square to make sure you will have a seat.
  • Please be patient, in case you need to stand during your journey, the airport shuttle tends to be crowded at peak times. 
  • Only the 900 HUF “Airport shuttle bus single ticket” is accepted for travel, no other types of tickets or passes are valid.
  • The Airport shuttle bus single ticket is available at all BKK customer service centres, ticket offices and ticket vending machines.
  • At the bus stop, you can only pay for the ticket by cash, therefore have smaller notes ready, 1000, 2000, 5000 HUF or the 900 HUF in 100, 200 HUF coins.
  • Astoria metro station (M2 – red line) periodic stop and Kálvin metro station (M3 -blue line) stop are for boarding only going to the airport. To make sure you will be able to board the bus, please be at the stop in advance, especially at peak times!

The front-door boarding only policy applies on this service: please validate your ticket with the machine right after boarding and show it to the driver.
