Eat, feel, love: Mexican fiesta in Budapest’s little Berlin quarter

The Bartok Bela Boulevard (BBB) on the Buda side starts roughly from the Gellért Baths, therefore it can be easily reached from the downtown via trams 47/49 or bus number 7 and trams 17/41 running along the Danube, metro line M4 also stops at Gellért square. The area is rich in diverse architecture both old and new, the long street offers cafés, bars, galleries, restaurants and little narrow side streets to stroll and discover.

Between 14-16 September, Mexico moves into the area with street celebrations from the morning until late in the evening. A great variety programmes can be joined by anyone with exhibitions and workshops adding Mexican charm, but the fiery dance performances and concerts will definitely add spice and bring out your inner fire. You will be able to hear stories and watch movies from Mexico, and even the spirit of the Frida Kahlo exhibition will be summoned. The programme list can be found here, however you need to use Google translate as the site unfortunately is in Hungarian: http://www.bartokbelaboulevard.hu/programsorozat.30.elevenosz_mexiko_2018
