Urban Games in Budapest again

Long live sports in the capital, long live urban athletes! The Urban Games will be back in Budapest on 1 September.

At this event that’s mostly for Budapest residents and for which registration is required, local sports communities can compete this year, too. The teams and individual competitors can compete at unusual downtown area locations, which are used for recreation or transportation in everyday life. Play basketball in Klauzál Square, run at the Citadella, or swim across the Danube along the Liberty Bridge! Downtown area streets, tourist attractions and abandoned sites await those longing for exercise at the most urban sports event.

You need to register in advance to take part in the activities, just click on the sports to be transferred to the registration form. Please note: this subsite is in Hungarian! In order to avoid last year’s resignations, this year, a deposit was introduced  in order to guarantee the places. For individual sports 5,000 HUF while for team sports 10,000 HUF is the amount which will be refunded via bank transfer after participating in the event.
