Budapest Bagel: At Kálvin Square you find the most delicious ring-shaped sandwiches with seeds, stuffed with salmon, duck, ham, creams, and so on. Take one with some freshly pressed juice for the perfect start of your day. Just 3 minutes from your hotel room.

TIP FOR DIP

Bors Gastrobar: From the day of the opening, it’s the most successful street food bar in Budapest, on Kazinczy street. Fresh daily soups, baguettes with special flavoring, and pastas. Try coconut milk-chili pumpkin-cream soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, or Brainded and French Lady baguettes. Be patient: place is tiny, fans are huge.

SWEETEN YOUR STAY

0,75 bistro: Friendly and cozy winebar, with excellent food and more than 100 different kinds of wines just in front of the Basilica. Wide selection of drinks, friendly prices, maybe the best price-value ratio place around.

CRAFT AND BEER

Élesztő: The leader place of beer revolution. 17 taps, constantly changing list of beers, cool food for beers on the garden during the summer months. They just opened a food-beer-truck garden, close to their main place.

BOOZING, CHILLING, AND LATE NIGHTS

BOB: Bacardi Original Bar is found near the Chain Bridge at Széchenyi Square. Wonderful view, wide range of drinks and quality cocktails, professional mixers and parties from the middle of the week.

CULTURE, ART, MUSIC

Cave Church: Next to the Gellért Bath there’s a little church, hiding in the stone of Gellért Hill. Cave Church was built in 1931 as a sacred place for the Order of Saint Paul. The stone walls make it the most unique chuch of Budapest.
