Home sweet home

Although the Hun-Hungarian (Magyar) relationship is much debated, countless legends preserve these memories. According to one, the siblings Hunor and Magor (the ancestors of the Huns and Magyars, respectively) found their new home by following a miraculous stag during the hunt (they were not yet int he Carpathian basin). When this land was no longer enough for the two tribes, the Huns went east and the Magyars went south.
