Converted insurance

By the end of the 19th century, Budapest had become a pulsating, vibrating world city in terms of both culture and finance, so many insurance firms opened offices here. Many of these buildings have been converted into hotels (e.g. Four Seasons – Gresham, Ritz Carlton – Adria Insurance, New York Palace). Some others are still waiting for something to happen – like the famous Anker House (6 Deák Ferenc tér), the big yellow building which is impossible to miss.
