Official Budapest Castle Bus

Discover the main attractions in the Buda Castle with the official electric bus service and save yourself and your guests from the troubled journey the big buses have to take! Grand coaches can only travel to the outer zone of the UNESCO world heritage Castle District. With us, travelers can reach in comfort and discover the protected inner zone – on vehicles that do not amortize and soil the centuries-old streets.

In the spring of 2017, a new, eco-friendly vehicle began taking passengers around major city landmarks in Budapest’s historic Castle District: a charming and comfy open-air minibus.

Emblazoned with iconic Budapest photos, driven by experienced drivers, and fully powered by electricity, these cool little coaches are already turning heads while tooling around on the cobblestoned streets of the capital’s oldest neighborhood, stopping at several sites near monumental attractions and high-quality restaurants, with the largest “green” bus fleet of the Hungarian capital.

Take the liberty to get off and hop back on at any of the 23 major attractions in the castle area, and use the same ticket three times!
