Budapest has undergone a spectacular transformation in recent decades, the traces of which are now part of the city’s everyday landscape. These changes and values are captured in images in an open-air photo exhibition, which can be visited until the end of January in one of the capital’s most spectacular parks. The exhibition, entitled „Budapest – What We Are Proud Of”, presents the renewal of Budapest through thirty large-format photographs in Széllkapu Park. The exhibition focuses on buildings, public spaces, and urban details that evoke both the heritage of the past and the cityscape of the present, all as a direct, visual experience. One of the special features of the open-air exhibition is that it can be visited freely during the day and in the evening, allowing the photos to show different faces in natural and artificial light. The city’s development is not presented here in numbers or plans, but can be experienced through moments, moods, and human-scale details. The choice of location is also telling: Széllkapu Park itself is part of the transformation process depicted in the photos. During the walk, a constantly changing yet familiar Budapest emerges, which is worth spending a little time and attention on – this free exhibition offers a special opportunity to do so until January 31. 1/2 ×
