Let’s celebrate the World Vegetarian Day

Every year on 1st of October we celebrate the World Vegetarian Day, which promotes the benefits of meat free food and diet and the gastronomy built up around it. In addition, this global event promotes the lives of animals, being cruelty free and conscious about what we eat. The whole October is about the consciousness of Vegetarian Food and it finishes on 1st of November with the World Vegan Day.

If you think that vegetarian and vegan food is not for you we suggest you check these restaurants that offer good options with a wide range of flavours for everyone and probably you can have more vegetarian days in the near future.

Las Vegans offers the combination of modern street food with vegetarian meals. You can taste the delicious nuggets, quesadillas, burritos, hamburguers from mushrooms, carrots, cheese and fresh smoothies among others. 

The Vega City gives you the option to pre order food for the whole week. They offer soups, stews, salads and main dishes including Indian and hamburgers plus they prepare some wonderful desserts.

The Vegan Love combines various street food styles and offers 8 types of hamburgers, such as sweet potato burger and BBQ tofu burger,.sandwiches, gyros plates, macaroons and refreshing drinks and smoothies. 

The Vexicana is the first vegan Mexican truck food in Budapest, where everything is plant  based. Here you can find the vegan version of the delicious Mexican food such as burritos, chimichanga – the deep fried burritos, the spicy jalapeño pepper mixed with cheese and raspberry jam, chili non carne, chips and more. 

Tokmag Vegan Street Food uses only gluten free food and it has a wide selection of soups, creams, hamburgers, sweets and drinks. The place is also animal friendly so you can visit it with your lovely dog.
