The World of Banksy – The street is a Canvas

He’s world famous but still a mystery – Banksy, the Bristol-born and to this day anonymous graffiti artist and painter, known for challenging the boundaries of the art market, who has been causing a sensation with his work for many years.

After the incredible success in cities such as Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Prague, Brussels, Lisbon and Dubai with over 2 million visitors, “The World of Banksy” will soon be coming to Venice, Naples, New York and from 3 May 2024 to Hungary for the first time! In Budapest, behind the walls of the historic cultural monument KOMPLEX in Király Street, the presentation shows like never before more than 100 works by the celebrated street art superstar: graffiti, photographs, video installations and prints on various materials such as canvas, fabric, aluminium, forex and plexiglass which were reproduced and collected especially for this exhibition. In an elaborate and unique setting, “The World of Banksy – Az utca a festővásznam” provides a comprehensive overview and insight into the entire work of the exceptional artist. This homage and the works on display are not authorised by Banksy due to his anonymous status.

While the originals are barely publicly available, here the no less impressive reproductions can be admired!
