description Hold Street Market Hall has been refurbished, and continues to operate under the name ‘Downtown Market’. The upgrade is designed to help rural and farm products enter the market, as well as to ensure that inner city residents can get fresh Hungarian products of guaranteed high quality in the heart of Budapest. The history of the market hall in Hold Street dates back to late 1891. The original plan was to construct the hall in Széchenyi Promenade but, as there had already been a marketplace in Hold Street, the Public Works Council of Capital Budapest (Fővárosi Közmunkák Tanácsa) recommended that the hall building be erected in the usual marketplace, i.e. on two plots situated between Hold Street and Vadász Street. location additional info open hours Monday 6:30 - 17:00 Tuesday 6:30 - 18:00 Wednesday 6:30 - 18:00 Thursday 6:30 - 18:00 Friday 6:30 - 18:00 Saturday 16:30 - 16:00 Sunday Zárva contact http://www.belvarospiac.hu/ +36 1 3277450 info@belvar.hu https://facebook.com/belvarosipiac https://www.instagram.com/belvarosipiac/ Share share on: Share this...FacebookPinterestTwitterLinkedin copy link: Get directions
