description

The Fradi Museum dates back to December 3, 1985. This was the day when the museum opened its gates officially on Béla Nagy’s celebration of the 85th jubilee of the football division. In the museum the visitors follow a timeline and learn the club’s history interactively. On this timeline the visitors can find numerous tablets with photos and video clips from a certain age. After leaving the timeline the visitors see the dressing corridor, where the history of Ferencváros is presented in eight lockers. To make it even more interesting, the lockers are filled from boots and jerseys from a certain period of the club’s history. The next stage at the museum is the retro stage, the exact copy of the wooden stages of the first Ferencváros stadium from Üllői Street. The stage is followed by the treasury, where the biggest cups and trophies are exhibited. In the next room the visitors can see the seasonal exhibitions. The last stop in the museum tour is the sanctuary, where the visitors can first see some of our legends on hologram screens and then the most valued relics of the club. Among others, Flórián Albert’s Golden Ball, Tibor Nyilasi’s silver boot and the biggest triumph in the history of Hungarian football, the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup is also exhibited in the Museum today.
