Tips to find a flat in Budapest by RE/MAX Professional

Dear future college student,

We would like to share a few hints and tips with you on finding a flat in Budapest.

Before starting your college years, perhaps one of the first questions you will ask is: Should I buy an apartment or should I rent?

Both renting and buying have its pros and cons. In case you decide to rent, you will have a lot less responsibilities for example if there is any problem with the flat, it is the landlord’s duty to fix it. (Calling a technician, paying the fees etc.)

However, during the many months, years you spend at college, you may pay an amount of rent that could have been enough to buy your own flat. If you choose this option you may benefit from it in different ways, for example having an extra income by renting out the additional rooms of the flat. Furthermore, you will not find yourself in the awkward situation that you have to leave the flat in the middle of the semester.

How may we help you?

We know Budapest very well and we can easily find a flat that is located in a good area, close to the universities or it has good public transport connections.

Additionally we can help you with language issues, communication with the owner and paperwork that follows purchasing an apartment. We can also help you with budgeting and calculating fees such as utilities.

Most importantly, if you choose us, we are part of an international network that is present in more than 100 countries so you will not become the victim of the real estate mafia.

Check our offers here at Guide.me or on our Facebook page: Re/MAX Professionals Budapest. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
