Zendaya arrived to Madame Tussads Budapest in a beautiful red carpet dress

Zendaya arrived to the room inspired by the Rac Bath of Madame Tussauds Budapest in a beautiful, iconic evening gown. The world star’s wax figure is unique, created exclusively for the Budapest production. The figure is wearing a replica of the outfit, in which the star attended her last Oscars in 2024. Zendaya was greeted in Budapest by one of her regular Hungarian voices, actress Franciska Törőcsik.

The unique wax figure, created especially for the Budapest production, was made in the Madame Tussauds studio near London over several months. Zendaya also participated in the process and took part in a so-called sitting, where experts assessed her physical parameters, from her skin tone to the distance between her eyes to her exact hair colour. They also modelled her movements, posture, and even her hairstyle.

The figure is wearing a special dress, a replica of the outfit Zendaya wore to the Oscars last year. The star blew up the media with her floor-length, antique pink and metallic silk Armani Privé gown. Hollywood fashion journalists named her the best-dressed star that year. Her dress with its twisted shoulder and palm leaf motifs, presented Madame Tussauds’ international team with a huge challenge, but the result speaks for itself.

Zendaya practically returned home to Budapest, as she had previously spent months in the capital due to the filming of Dune, often accompanied by her new fiancé, Tom Holland.

Franciska Törőcsik has lent her voice to Zendaya several times, for example, in the Dune films, The Greatest Showman and Challengers. Both are diverse artists who have proven themselves in dance shows, on the big screen or behind the microphone. “I think Zendaya is a great girl, a good actress, a real individual and very conscious in everything she does. It is stressful to dub bad roles, but it is easy to work with her. My personal favourite of her movies is Challengers,” said Franciska Törőcsik, who personally introduced the character to the press and the general public. “At some points, our careers truly meet: I also enjoy that I can sing and dance as part of acting, I don’t have time to get bored in anything,” added Franciska Törőcsik. The actress looked at the silk dress with appreciation but admitted that she does not follow fashion on a daily bases, and on weekdays she feels comfortable in a baseball cap and a sweater.

Zendaya joined the residents of Madame Tussauds Budapest as a permanent figure, arriving stylishly in time for the Valentine’s Day decorations. Romance is also present in Zendaya’s life, the star recently became a fiancée to actor Tom Holland.
