description

The permanent exhibition of the 1956 Revolution and the War of Independence is the site of an anti-aircraft shelter under the Tamariska Hill (National Protected Nature Reserve). The first part of the exhibition is a classic historical sense (with tables, contemporary photos and documents, with many interesting things in the showcases), and the other part draws visitors back to 1956 with life-stories and interactive elements.

Sign-in is free of charge all year round, and also can be visited once a month between 10 and 16 hours without prior consultation (exact dates on the website)
