description The Hospital In The Rock Nuclear Bunker Museum is located under the Buda Castle. The hospital played an important historical and life-saving role as an emergency facility during World War II and the 1956 revolution. It was developed as an atomic bunker during the Cold War and was kept top secret until 2002. In 2008, the museum opened its doors, including Hungary’s largest exhibition of waxworks, which gives an exciting insight into the history of the hospital and the military medicine of the time. Is open to the public to visit in the form of guided tours.
