description

St Stephen’s Hall, one of the most remarkable rooms of the Palace of Buda Castle at the turn of the last century, was opened to the public on 20 August 2021. It was completely destroyed in World War II, and it was not restored after 1945. Experts and applied artists worked for several years to ensure that this jewel box, reconstructed authentically within the framework of the National Hauszmann Program, can be seen in its original glory.
